Things to know explain very important information about Libregamewiki just so there are no misunderstanding.

Just so you know, the wiki is a for-profit operation by its founder, Kiba(me). He put up ads here not necessary to cover the cost of operation, but to make money. He got free hosting so he shouldn't need ads to keep the site running, although the domain name does cost money.

However, users are free to block ads. The wiki will not do anything nor will it try to stop them from doing it.

We licensed the contents under the GNU FDL. It is also licensed under the Creative Common Attribution, not because of philosophical preferences over CC BY-SA but because of unwillingness to change.

Wikipedia content cannot be transfered to this wiki, though libregamewiki content can be transfered to wikipedia.
