[edit] Windows version
I wanted to try this game, so I went to the SourceForge download page looking for the Windows version, but the file names don't give much info. Which file should I download? 83.252.17.61 19:31, 2 February 2008 (CET)
- There are no compiled executables on the SourceForge.net site. You can try the Viewizard site for a (shareware?) prebuilt version of AstroMenace for the alternative platform. --AVRS 20:59, 2 February 2008 (CET)
- The SF.net page contains the source code for executables (src), a compiled data (data), and language files. The uncompiled data files can probably be found somewhere in the SVN. If not, they have been available at the Viewizard site, or at least (I think; but it’s unlikely that there is no easier way already) can be decompiled from the VFS file. --AVRS 21:12, 2 February 2008 (CET)
- Thank you for the answer, and sorry about being off-topic. 83.252.17.61 22:45, 2 February 2008 (CET)
[edit] Freedom
Debian AM suggestion points to a mention of non-free files in AstroMenace or OpenAstroMenace. Which one? What has changed there? --AVRS 20:37, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
