Windys is a free software action arcade game by Piga Software, originally released on August 12, 2009. It utilizes the Gambas Platform Engine and is designed in a deliberately retro style, featuring ASCII graphics and simulated PC speaker beeps. It is the second Piga game to be released for GNU/Linux, the first being Alexei: Part IX. A bug release version was sent out on September 1, 2011, and a brand new version was released on August 12, 2011 featuring bug fixes, updates proofreading and proper installers on a new Gambas 2 basis.

Gameplay
The game is a simple arcade game. The player must run through a level, climbing up or down ladders to get to various floors, the end goal being to reach the level exit. The players way is obstructed by zombies, who prowl from left to right on some floors, killing the player if encountered (sending him to beginning of the level and removing one of his lives). To get past these menaces, the player may fire a glob of ketchup at them. The ketchup is only a short-range weapon however, so the player must get close to the zombie to hit it. Zombies eventually regenerate. The player needs to keep a supply of ketchup packets in order to fire. The player may also collect bonus items such as burgers, soda, or fries. There are some areas that are closed off with doors, inside of which are usually decorative items. Victor, the final boss, has no attack, except for generating super zombies. Super zombies can climb down ladders a the player and regenerate immediately after being shot, or after reaching the bottom of the level. There are nine levels plus a boss level and a secret level.

his is no game, just a couple of data files without explanations. --Gamfan (talk) 21:27, 29 August 2013 (CEST)
:Hi, I'm this project's leader (or trying my best at least ;)). It's actually a runnable game, only very incomplete. I really should take the time to extract the source files out of the WAD file, though the WAD file is just a container with all the files, there are editor's which can read it, think of it like a tarball. I also haven't had the time to write a read me file yet, for which I apologize. I see no real reason for why this article has to be deleted, as the game is licensed free as in freedom, only very incomplete at the moment, but if other people feel different, I guess I don't have anything against it. I also apologize for taking a long time to respond to this message. Have a nice day! Ri-li is an arcade game in which you drive a toy wood train engine across many levels. It is written by Dominique Roux-Serret. The latest version of the game is 2.0.1 on November 1st, 2007. It is written in the C++ programming language, using the SDL library.

Its UI has 19 languages to choose from: Arabic, Breton, Chinese, Dutch, English, Esperanto, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish.

Gameplay
The player has to tell the train what its next turn should be, so that it does not collide with itself. The train collects cars, which are attached to it automatically.

There are various good and bad items on the track, like those which accelerate the train or make the thread between coaches longer or shorter.

At the end of each level, the player is presented with a chapter from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and is asked to choose the number of that chapter of two given numbers. For a correct answer, more points are given.
ReTux (stylized as "reTux" in-game) is a libre 2-D platformer written in Python and utilizing media from SuperTux.

Although ReTux re-uses the art assets of SuperTux, no code from SuperTux is used in ReTux. The software portion of ReTux is entirely new, written in Python and based on the SGE Game Engine.

The main game contains 41 levels split into 5 worldmaps. Each level also has a Tux doll which can be found for bonus points and 100% completion.

It was previously distributed commercially, but released to the public at no charge in April 2017.
@CameliaGirls: Cewek Cewek Camelia is a visual novel that follows the life of a transfer student as she begins her new life at the all-girl Camelia Academy. The game is developed using the Ren'Py Visual Novel engine with its code and original content released under the CC-BY-SA license. It also incorporates several third-party multimedia assets under compatible licenses. The script and interface is officially developed in English, Indonesian, and Spanish, and as of now, consists of one Act with about 3600 words.

Gameplay
@CG is a visual novel, which can best be described as an interactive story book where the player assumes the role of the protagonist, Kana, making decisions that alter the events and final outcome of the story. The game is highly dialog-driven, but also incorporates visual gags, reminiscent of the Anime style that inspires it.

Development
The development of the project was originally done privately, but due to slow progress and a desire to engage the community, everything was opened up in December of 2010 to volunteer contributors. @CG does not host a public repository, but releases periodic source code snapshots, in addition to the ready-to-play game packages.

@CG's main development hub is its deviantArt group. Here, @CG provides incentives for contributors through its bounty system, where requests for new assets and features are put on the team's Help Wanted board.

FOSS Sponsorship
The @CG maintainers contribute part of the project's development budget to support the FOSS tools used by the team, both through donations and active commissioning of developers. One of the more prominent contributions was the Indonesian Translation of Inkscape .
Colobot - colonise with bots - is a combination of a real-time strategy and a programming game. The player takes the role of an astronaut with the mission to find a habitable planet, after humankind plunged the Earth into an ecological catastrophe. The player is not on their own, but accompanied by programmable robots that can help in building and defending structures. Through a satellite link with 'Houston' she/he is directed to complete a number of missions on different planets. The game also involves a rather aggressive though evolving relationship with native alien lifeforms.

Apart from the missions, there are also two game modes that instruct the player in the use of CBOT, the language used to program the bots. This language is rather similar to C++ and Java. During the missions, it's not really necessary to write code for the bots, but it is convenient to be able to adapt the programs Houston offers to the player. Version 0.1.6 introduced the Code Battle game mode, where players first provide all programs needed to operate a base and/or kill all enemies, and then let the programmed bots do their job without the possibility to interfere. The game provides three types of enemies: passive targets, pre-programmed bots and hot-seat play against a fellow human.

Development
The game was first developed and released by Epsitec, a Swiss software company. In 2012, Epsitec licensed the game under GPLv3+ to PPC (Polski Portal Colobota, or Polish Portal of Colobot). The PPC is now developing Colobot: Gold Edition, a portable and bug-free version of the original Colobot. They first ported the game from DirectX to a combination of OpenGL and SDL. After Colobot: Gold Edition is finished, PPC plans to work on the successor, Colobot 2.

In 2014, PPC was renamed to International Colobot Community to reflect a wider target audience. At the same time, the developers have adopted the name of TerranovaTeam.
