• January 2024: Thanks to its diligent contributors, LibreGameWiki has 75 000 edits.
• January 2023: LibreGameWiki is updated to the latest version of MediaWiki.
• December 2022: Libregamewiki is now 1200 articles. Yeah!
• August 2022: Hurray, it's LibreGameWiki's 15th birthday!

2018

• December 2018: LibreGameWiki now has 1000 articles. Yeah!

2017

• August 2017: LibreGameWiki is now 10 years old. Yeah!

2015

• February 2015: LibreGameWiki is updated to the latest version of MediaWiki. Basic support for mobile devices is available.

2014

• June 2014: LibreGameWiki is using https, Forward Secrecy and Strict Transport Security as suggested by Reset the net, and has done so for quite some time now. We score A+ on ssltest.

2013

• December 2013: Updated to MediaWiki version 1.22.
• September 2013: The first 100 game articles have been converted to use the new gameinfo-box. Updates to these articles with automaticalĺy show up in the new games and releases ticker
• August 2013: Added a ticker of recently released games to the Main Page

2012

• October 2012: LibreGameWiki has now nice pages for each genre and a drop down menu
• October 2012: LibreGameWiki is up again. A new spam prevention system allows normal account creation.
• August 2012: LibreGameWiki is now 5 years old. Yeah!

2011

• December 2011: LibreGameWiki broke through the 20,000 edits barrier (excluding spam)
• February 2011: anonymous editing is being blocked due to spam. Please come to IRC (#LibreGameWiki on freenodeLibera) to get your IP unblocked to get an account.

• October 20, 2007: We added a new service to this domain! It is called Planet Free Gaming. This service syndicates the various free gaming blogs spreaded across the blogosphere. I hope that some of you will find the service useful. --Kiba

• October 01, 2007: I also opened up a forum at this place with phpbb3. I hope you don't mind me using untested softwares. It is another attempt to help encourage a community and grow the LibreGameWiki site. I don't know how successful it will be though. It will also be home to future game projects that I am currently do or in the future will do. --Kiba
