David White (born 1980), also known as Dave or Sirp, is the lead developer of Battle for Wesnoth. He is currently involved in the Silver Tree project. Other (usually less complete)projects include Frogatto, darkchess960, and Wesciv.[1]

Dave White originates from Sydney, Australia[2] and now lives in California, USA and is working as a programmer[3]. He is also a father.
