Richard Kettering, also known as Jetrel, is a programmer, who has contributed most significantly to OSS as an artist. He is the lead artist and art director on the Battle for Wesnoth team.[1] He was also on the artwork team at the Allacrost project.[2] Recently, he has worked on the project called Frogatto and Friends, which is an open-source project with copywritten art.

Richard is a recent college graduate who has a double major in physics and mathematics. He has worked professionally as a web/database programmer.
He joined the wesnoth project during the version 0.5.x series.[3] He eventually replaced Francisco Muñoz as art director of the project.
