Parallel Realities

Parallel Realities is a team consisting of Stephen Sweeney and Richard Sweeney. The duo produced numerous Free games and software, all licensed under the GPL.^[1]

In 2008, they've declared an end of their work.^{[reference required]}

In the discussion it was revealed that some of the media in their games were freeware. Until then, they have been erroneously thought by others than the game developers to be covered by the GNU GPL of the source.^{[reference required]}

The developers sent take down requests to the package maintainers, and the games were either removed, or cleaned from the non-free parts.^{[reference required]}
