angband sound[edit]

I played Angband and it didn't play any sounds. This was angband-x11 version on linux mint though what version plays sounds? looks like angband-audio is a Suggests for angband, so it's not required for the game to work Natewrench (talk) 18:59, 2 July 2023‎ (CEST)

It is not a requirement, but it's not the complete game without. Not saying it's disqualifying for LGW per se, but it at least deserves a mention if an article were to be created. Modanung (talk) 23:40, 2 July 2023 (CEST)

Natewrench (talk) 02:20, 3 July 2023 (CEST) I know, its the bare minimums that angband can be played, sound being optional, though if someone wants to create free sounds for angband im all ears, unless I am deaf. OpenTTD for example can work with TTD assets or you can use the free assets, its an free software engine remake with non-free data from the proprietary original, thats why the free assets were created.
