Breaking convention

Nowhere does it say "screenshot" in the Gameinfo template. Just because hardly anyone else takes the effort of providing a splash screen, logo or box art doesn't mean it makes sense to put a screenshot there. To see a larger version of the image, you have to first click through to the game's page anyway. Furthermore, when you make it a screenshot and a page has more of those, that puts screenshots in multiple places. Please don't block conscious efforts of breaking a bad habit out of conformity. You’re wrong tho. It actually does say "screenshot" on Template:Gameinfo: "image: An image of the game, preferably a screenshot". Before I risk an edit war, I am going to escalate this debate to Libregamewiki:Community portal. --Wuzzy (talk) 22:48, 21 May 2026 (UTC)
