User:Anaseto
Hi, I'm anaseto. I use and create free software. In particular, I make roguelike games: Boohu (2017), Harmonist (2019), and Shamogu (2025). I'm an array programming language enthousiast, too, and I created the Goal array programming language (2022). I also made and maintain Frundis (2016), a markup language designed for the kaosfantasy project of libre fantasy books, featuring several series in various languages, some of which served as inspiration for my games, particularly “El ciclo de Shaedra” for Harmonist.
All my free software projects are listed in my codeberg page. I mostly code in Go on OpenBSD and use the ISC license.
Libre games I like[edit]
I enjoy fantasy themes the most, with a preference for light-hearted ones.
I'm mostly into traditional roguelikes. Before starting my own, I particularly played and enjoyed DCSS, but also some Brogue and Nethack. I also think IVAN and CDDA are worth checking, even though I haven't played them much.
I like other turn-based games like Wesnoth, too. More occasionally, I've had some fun with real-time games like FLARE and Pingus.
