About deleting old discussions[edit]

It would be better to move the talk page to an archive rather than just deleting it. -- Kiba 18:32, 26 August 2007 (CEST)

1. It can be recovered via the history. 2. What do you mean by archive? Please explain. -- Qubodup 18:35, 26 August 2007 (CEST)
Archive as in old stuff. Link to old stuff. By the way, I created a place for discussion at Libregamewiki:The coffeehouse. Would be great if someone else also talk about the libregamewiki too. --Kiba 18:43, 26 August 2007 (CEST)

About the Ads[edit]

Please comment whether the code work for you. I didn't realize that you sent me an email about it so I implement it after seeing it.--Kiba 03:35, 27 August 2007 (CEST)

It worked when you used the code from the email, but now it isn't working any more! --Qubodup 02:44, 28 August 2007 (CEST)
I lost your email address(couldn't find it for some reason). Please send it again.--Kiba 19:03, 2 September 2007 (CEST)
Ok, I implemented your code. Does it work?--Kiba 22:22, 2 September 2007 (CEST)
Don't know, increase by 10 pixels plz, (110px) or is it maybe too little ( are the new ads more slim?) --77.177.249.15 01:14, 3 September 2007 (CEST)
Successfully implement your request I think. Does it work?Kiba 02:01, 3 September 2007 (CEST)
Strange, there is always a small jump, oh well, 100px is too much (I can see the div height using opera) so you can reduce it to 80px and leave it be (The jump is not problematic compared to the old one..) --77.177.20.47 17:43, 3 September 2007 (CEST)

About my entry[edit]

So you finally created an article about me. I see that you're digging into my past...How do you find my wikipedia userpage?--Kiba 02:24, 28 August 2007 (CEST)

Kiba+Han+Dao in google :) (you reveal your name on your blog) --Qubodup 02:43, 28 August 2007 (CEST)

Granted power[edit]

You now have the power of an administrator!--Kiba 18:27, 8 September 2007 (CEST)

That's awensome! :) I will do good --Qubodup 21:54, 8 September 2007 (CEST)

Perhaps...[edit]

I don't think we need to refer to everything as Free/libre. We may need to mention it a few time but I think that'll be clear. Nobody except us use Free/libre and I think it is better to just use Free in most cases.--Kiba 14:20, 9 September 2007 (CEST)

I agree that there is a problem because of it being uncommon, but if you are ok with it, we can help coin the word, make the users used to it. We can also create a page for "why do we use this idiotic "Free/libre" all the time? (Like the FSF does for why it uses GNU/Linux instead of Linux. If you are not ok with it, I'd ask you to allow me to keep it on key pages (Main page, all lists, Article policy). --Qubodup 16:56, 9 September 2007 (CEST)
No. I like Free better but you're allowed to keep it on key pages.--Kiba 19:28, 9 September 2007 (CEST)

References to licenses[edit]

I am not sure how you would like references to licenses to be made. In many cases, a game's license is stated directly on its homepage, rather than a specific license page that can be easily linked to by a ref. It seems redundant to me to have a reference or two pointing to a game's homepage, in addition to the homepage link at the bottom. I suppose we could use something like "License: see first paragraph" in the ref link (in general, just point to where on the homepage the license is stated). Thoughts? --Mpgamer 20:20, 9 September 2007 (CEST)

Perhaps I answered my own question. FlightGear provides references to the actual license files in Debian's package repo. This may be more difficult for games not packaged for Debian (if there are any, ;-). --Mpgamer 20:32, 9 September 2007 (CEST)
Most games have a cvs or svc, also you can say "see README textfile" but it's always good to have a license reference, especially for media, as the licenses are critical for having the game article on this page --Qubodup 20:33, 9 September 2007 (CEST)
Ok, sounds good. --Mpgamer 21:02, 9 September 2007 (CEST)

Lock[edit]

What does the lock after a link mean?

I think that mean a secured connection.--Kiba 20:58, 26 September 2007 (CEST)
