| Glitch is a free game. This means that the source code and media files are available to be studied, modified, and distributed. Most projects look for help with testing, documentation, graphics, etc., as well. | |
Glitch is a platformer in cyberspace. You’re a bit on transit, but a mysterious distortion caused you to get lost. You navigate the world without the ability to jump but instead make use of various abilities to collect electrons to open gateways. Made by Wuzzy for the 2022 Minetest Game Jam.
Gameplay[edit]
Your goal is to find your way back to your true destination. You can explore various sectors of cyberspace which are all interconnected. To advance, you need to make use of your limited abilities to collect electrons and unlock gateways to progressively more sectors.
At first, you only have the ability to slide on flat ground; many electrons are off-limits at first, but as you unlock more sectors, you will find special places that grant you unique new abilities, such as super slide, launching, climbing, and more. Green "Helper" characters will help you proceed as well.
