LifeFLOW3D is a free game. This means that the source code is available to be studied, modified, and distributed. Most projects look for help with testing, documentation, graphics, etc., as well.

LifeFLOW3D Digitarium lets you play with moving software creatures, as they explore their lush environments.

In LifeFLOW3D, you interact with various geometric systems that respond to your avatar. Kids learn about space and time, and get a feeling for exciting ways to play with colors and shapes.[1] It is released under the GPL 3.0 license.[2]

Gameplay[edit]

The game contains several levels. In each one, the player can steer an avatar with the arrow keys and PgUp/PgDn. Enter and the space bar provide special actions, often changing avatar shape. Tab and many other keys provide level-dependent ways of interacting with the creatures.

As the game progresses, the geometry travels through the environment, responsively interacting with the player. Which structures and motions develop reveals interesting insights.
