O.H.R.RPG.C.E. is a free game. This means that the source code is available to be studied, modified, and distributed. Most projects look for help with testing, documentation, graphics, etc., as well.

O.H.R.RPG.C.E. (Official Hamster Republic Role Playing Game Construction Engine) is a GPL licensed [1] cross-platform tool with which you can create your own 2D RPG game in a style similar to the classic Final Fantasy games on the NES, SNES and GBA which have so shaped the RPG genre. No programming knowledge is needed to use the program, but scripting is also available.

The latest stable release of the engine is called Gorgonzola of 2020. [2].
