StressFreeZone is a free game. This means that the source code is available to be studied, modified, and distributed. Most projects look for help with testing, documentation, graphics, etc., as well.

StressFreeZone is a space simulation focused on cooperative (non-massive)-multiplayer and intuitive gameplay, that is fun to play in short bursts, e.g. on LAN parties. It is written in the C++ and Lua programming language and uses the Lugre engine. The source code is licensed under the GPL (version 3 or later). The media are licensed under various liberal licenses.

The game is incomplete and has not been developed further since October 2008.
