Terasology is a platform for Minecraft-inspired games. It started as a tech demo to demonstrate the latest rendering techniques in LWJGL. The game stakes out its own niche by adopting the NPC-helper and caretaker feel from such games as Dwarf Fortress and Dungeon Keeper.
