Free Reign is a 3D city simulator written by Alexander Taylor.[1] The latest version of the game is 0.2.1 on July 29th, 2001.[2] The game is written in the C++ programming language.[3] It is licensed under the GPL.[4] It became the inspiration for the OpenCity project.
