OpenSceneGraph is a free engine. This means that the source code is available to be studied, modified, and distributed. Most projects look for help with testing, documentation, graphics, etc., as well.

OpenSceneGraph, or OSG, is a cross-platform real-time 3D engine written in C++ and based on OpenGL, widely used for many applications including games. [3] It only focuses on 3D rendering and does not alone offer related functionality such as physics.

Free gaming projects using OSG include FlightGear[4] and OpenMW engine[5].
