VoxeLibre is a survival sandbox game, free clone of Minecraft created in Minetest. The player spawns in a randomly-generated world made of cubes and can survive, gather, hunt, build, explore, and do much more.[3]

The player can choose to play in a “survival mode” in which they have to fight monsters, hunger for survival and slowly progress through the various other aspects of the game, such as mining, farming and so on, or play in “creative mode” in which player can build and destroy almost anything instantly.[3]

VoxeLibre was formerly known as MineClone 2. It's a fork of MineClone[4], an older game made by davedevils

Development of MineClone started on June 30th of 2015[5], first released version was 0.21. MineClone2 development was started nearly in 5th January of 2017[4] by Wuzzy. Next tagged in repo version was 0.42[6]
