Idle games are games where a large portion of the time, the player “idles” and the game “plays itself”. Idle games can run in the background, with the player only occassionally coming back to give some input. See also: “Idle game” in Wikipedia

Candy Box 2 is an ASCII art idle game for the webbrowser. It is the successor to Candy Box. The game starts by giving you 1 candy per second, and the option to eat them. Like in most idle games, you will continue gaining resources while the game runs in the background in some browser tab. The game will quickly become more complex over time and unlock more features. For instance, you can visit villagers in a village, exchange candies for items, go on RPG-like quests and do more. Unlike most idle games, Candy Box 2 has an end. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
